OH!

2006-2008, digital print, 170cm X 120cm, part of the group exhibition “Cataclysm and Creativity: Art in the Age of Uncertainty”, Museum of Contemporary Arts, Skopje, Macedonia and Weil Gallery, Corpus Christi, Texas, USA

While observing the spectacle from a safe distance, the nowadays art tourism and contemporary voyeurism has been particularly attracted by several keywords: War, Cataclysm, Disaster, Dust, Blood, Terror.

Is this how the contemporary angels-managers of history look like? They look like if they want to distance from something that fascinates them. Their eyes are staring, their mouths are open and their “wings” resting. Their faces are neither towards the past nor towards the future, but towards the present (Liljana Nedelkovska, 2008).

The two images are purchased from a commercial micro-stock database and exhibited without additional authors’ interventions.
